ACOUSTIC WAVE THERAPY TO TREAT ACUTE INJURY AND CHRONIC INJURY

How does Shockwave Therapy work?

To treat musculoskeletal injuries, acoustic wave therapy promotes increased blood flow by breaking up adhesions in the tissues. The disruption of calcified deposits and other blockages allows for more movement in areas of the body that have become tight or “stuck,” as we see in frozen shoulder, tendinitis, bursitis, tennis elbow, and more. Increased blood flow helps greatly to relieve pain from acute and chronic injuries, including conditions in sensitive areas such as ED and pelvic pain.

Acoustic Wave Therapy, sometimes known as Shockwave Therapy is not as scary as it sounds. You can read more about how it works, its benefits, and what to expect on our blog.
